Term of use
The following conditions apply on visiting the website of Shortstays.eu and the use of information (including the booking and offer on Shortstays.eu). Shortstays.eu is part of the Dutch company Amphebia, thus the Dutch law is applicable. Shortstays.eu has the right to change these conditions at any time without prior notification.

Prices
The prices shown are per accommodation and on the basis of your own transport. These prices always apply to one or more nights and this is clearly stated in the price information. The maximum number of people within an accommodation may vary, and can influence the price. Whether or not breakfast is included is also stated. All prices can be subject to typos and intermediate changes.

Additional charges and surcharges
Shortstays.eu calculates no extra costs for a reservation. The use of our website is free.

For a cancellation insurance we advise you to contact your insurer. Unfortunately, it is (still) not possible to insure your stay via Shortstays.eu.

For most accommodations within the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg tourist tax will be charged. These costs can vary by town and are always per person per night.

For the requirement of special needs (eg extra beds, bicycle rentals), we advise you to directly contact the accommodation after you have made the reservation. Please note that the accommodation may charge you an extra fee for your special needs.

Final reservation
After booking, an e-mail is sent to you with your reservation. Your reservation is not yet final; the accommodation has to approve the reservation first. This is all managed by Shortstays.eu, so you can sit back and relax. Once this is done you will receive a final confirmation by e-mail with all the details of your booking. From that moment your reservation is final and you're expected at the accommodation on the arrival date.

Payment information
Payment is always on arrival at the accommodation, at the arrival date. The total amount (excluding any special requests) that you should pay is available in the final confirmation.

No availability
Unfortunately it's possible that the stay of your choice is already fully booked, as most accommodations also accept reservations through other channels. It is within the responsibility of the accommodation itself to supply up-to-date information. Should it occur that an accommodation is fully booked, then an alternative stay may be offered by the same accommodation. Of course you are not required to book this alternative.

Cancellation
If you wish to cancel, cancellation fees can be calculated by the accommodation. Height of these costs are calculated as follows:

• If cancelled until 18 days before arrival, 50% of the reservation value is payable
  
• If cancelled up to 5 days before the arrival 75%
  
• If cancelled up to 2 days before arrival 90% on the day of arrival 100%.
